Thanks Shams

Shams over at Communing with Fabric, in addition to inspiring me with ideas for wearable clothes and encouraging Style Arc pants pattern purchases, has also made me aware of Yasmine and her very sewable fashion. :

How is this for a White Shirt?

And isn't this a cool jacket?

Now off to sew summer dresses despite the weather that is wet, cold, and raining again. Anyone want to mail me some of that heat wave the rest of the continent is supposed to be having?

Sorry your weather is so nasty, one of the disadvantages of ocean influence. We have had nothing but glorious summer days up her for a long while so I can spare you one or two. The leading edge of high pressure is being sent your way....Bunny

Had to come back and tell you that I clicked on the white shirt. That is one incredible shirt and I am so inspired. Yes, her clothing is very sewable. I've got to do that shirt, thanks.

Very cool shirt. I've gotten away from mine....mostly knit tops right now. Anyway, sunny and warm in Edmonton today, but we've had a LOT of rain (last 4/5 days) and more expected tomorrow. The mosquitoes are horrendous! Hang in! Hope some sun comes your way soon,

Shams is such a great provider of great resources and inspiration. She directed me to zipperstop for a hard-to-find zipper. It has arrived and I'm on my way now! I too am seriously in love with that white shirt with all the tucks. I want to learn how to do that!
