About me

My photo
I am a mother, a new grandmother, and a teacher. But whatever happens in my life, I keep sewing. I have worked as a political communicator and now as a teacher in my formal life. I have also written extensively on sewing. I have been a frequent contributor and contributing editor of Threads magazine and the Australian magazine Dressmaking with Stitches. My first book Sew.. the garment-making book of knowledge will be published in May 2018 and is available for pre-order from Amazon

She's fine.

But I think Miss Heidi is going to be my inspiration for 2017.

I think the mask pulls it all together. Without the mask it would just be leggings, a sweatshirt, and a tutu. Love this!

I don't know Miss Heidi, but she has become my inspiration, too.

My wardrobe is so dull. I need a few tutus in accent colors. And maybe an eye mask.

I am laughing! All of you --- you've made my morning!

I think Miss Heidi has definitely inherited your wry sense of humor. :-)

I think she nailed the look and the sentiment.
Not only are tutus a necessary wardrobe staple but French fries don't get nearly
enough credit for their nutritional value. Priceless!

Lucky grandmom! To be there to catch such moments is absolutely priceless! To recognize that this is one of those standout moments is a terrific relection of your values. Winner in both arenas!
Post that picture above your ironing board!
