- I am a mother, a grandmother, and a teacher. But whatever happens in my life, I keep sewing. I have worked as a political communicator and now as a teacher in my formal life. I have also written extensively on sewing. I have been a frequent contributor and contributing editor of Threads magazine and the Australian magazine Dressmaking with Stitches. Thanks! I've been inundated with spam lately, too. But it's mostly on my posts that are older, so having my blog set to "moderate comments older than 30 days" has been a big help. Boy, oy. It feels like a list of blogs has been posted for the spammers and I'm on it.
Yeh, I took verification off, too. When using it on other sites, I sometimes try to guess how many times I will have to hit the circular arrow until I find one that I can actually read!
The blogger spam filter has become so good that removing word verification has been nearly painless. I still get spam, but they get sent to the spam folder for me to review rather than get posted.
I don't know whether it's just me or if perhaps everybody else experiencing problems with your website.
It appears like some of the text on your content are running off the screen.
Can somebody else please provide feedback and let me know if this is
happening to them as well? This might be a problem with my browser because I've had this happen before. Many thanks
