OMG, Barbara, this is wonderful. Thanks for the link and for such thoughtful posts. Your recent post on sewing as a place to renew and recover is so meaningful to me this year.

I found the perfect one for me a very old one by Angela Lansbury - so old its actually a video. It's called 'Positive Moves' a personal Plan for fitness and well being at any age. Her motto is 'easy does it'. Its a kind of dance meets pilates but 'doable'! I must admit I don't do it every day as she recommends but do love it. The dance part is more a way of moving around than actual jigging - if you see what I mean. Loosens you up, fun to do and makes you feel great. There are 'proper' exercises on it too but again all doable. I describe myself as a fitness freak - the very thought of exercise freaks me out!

thanks for the great laugh! I bought the fitness for our Wii, on the first day I threw out my back, felt like I dislocated my hip and couldn't move my neck the whole day! I'm back to using the Wii for Netflicks, at least I get the exercise I need by getting up to push the switch from TV to Wii!

I had to chime in to say your suggested titles cracked me up! They all applied to me, that's for sure.
