I would put in my two cents worth too on the very common problem of a horizontal fold under the seat - I have found that famous "Clown Butt" alteration tactic works really well to fix that.
I have written about this in my book but also on this blog somewhere - if you search with that term in the search box it should turn up.

Now I’ve looked at this alteration inyour blog and the light bulb came on. I definitely need this alteration. I always have too much fabric pushed down below my butt when I sew or buy pants. Thanks!

Great fit! And helpful for people to see that this is good for a casual pant. I think too many people have gotten in their heads that pants must be completely, perfectly, flat/straight!!!! (I'm exaggerating purposefully!)
