Busy day today, hopefully the last of this term's marking and the buttons on one shirt.
But before I do that I have to share with you a picture my sister Nancy sent of herself and her dog Molly. They are fairly sure Molly was abused as a pup but here she is here.
I feel there is a special bond women have with dogs and to my mind this is what it looks like:

- I am a mother, a grandmother, and a teacher. But whatever happens in my life, I keep sewing. I have worked as a political communicator and now as a teacher in my formal life. I have also written extensively on sewing. I have been a frequent contributor and contributing editor of Threads magazine and the Australian magazine Dressmaking with Stitches. Molly looks like she understands what is being said to her. That is a precious picture. It is amazing what love and caring can do for an animal.
