Daisy's boyfriend

As promised here is a shot of Moose, sitting in his front yard in the sleet waiting for Daisy to come as far as his house. Almost, but not quite, captures his fixation.

Love is strange.

  2. Yes, Moose is a handsome fellow and deeply alert. Thank you for posting his picture.
Does Daisy actually like him? Interested, at all?
There is a glitch regarding comments – if I preview my comment and then go to publish, the comment vanishes from the box. That has happened several times. I know, just what you need to read right before Christmas.

  3. Barbara I have had that problem myself elsewhere and if you wait a few minutes the comment appears. And yes Daisy likes Moose too. I have to pick her up and carry her past his house if he isn't out, otherwise she runs up to his front door. Strange indeed given that he is exactly 5 times bigger and heavier than she is, however she does has presence.

  4. My 8 pound poodle is the sentinel. She acts as if she will take on anything. But she has for troops the terrier back-up. They are very entertaining.

  5. All this talk of dogs! while Nick and I are waiting to hear if we have a new puppy on the way. We lost our dog last January and it is time for a new furry best friend in the house.

  6. Very handsome indeed - our chiropractor has a Bernese Mt dog very like this (but I think stockier?) who comes to the office with him and is very therapeutic to stroke - I wanted one badly but decided that at this life stage I need a dog I can pick up..

    Happy holidays!

  8. Mindful gift wrapping.... good one! Hahaha! But then, we sewists maybe do not need to spend the wrapping moments being mindful of our loved ones, since many of us use our sewing moments to do this. What does sewing do for me? One thing it does is to allow me a way of creating perfect gifts for the people I love. While I sew I think about my love for that person. My sewn gifts are "portable love", to borrow a phrase from the Yarn Harlot.
