Scarlett did her sewing presentation for her grade one class. It went well and afterwards kids approached her with orders.
She has yet to learn how sewing for other people can get annoying. But then again she is only six, still time. In the meantime she is pretty pleased with herself:
Hahaha, way to go Scarlett! Yes, it can be annoying to sew for others, but many of us still do it. I was just trying to figure out if I still have time to sew some bowl pot holders (or whatever those handy things are called that allow you to eat your bowl of soup away from the table without burning yourself) in the next few days for a visitor who will surely ask me to make her some. And why not? It is magical to be able to walk into your sewing room and turn some fabric scraps into cool and useful things. Like bowl holders, or pillowcases, or something else.
Already getting orders. LOL That is so funny.
