For your further education
Just so you know, and for more information, so you can see what my process has been here. I grabbed my camera and, still in my nightgown, got my turkey bacon cooking, and put my jacket on again, holding it closed at CF as it was when I was fitting. Maybe the baggy armpit is fabric as well. what do you think?

ReplyDeleteIt looks great now! I think you just need to finish it and add a zipper or buttons or something to keep it closed when you want it sleekly fitted like this.

Wow, holding it closed makes quite a difference. I had to look closely but if you look at the hemline, you can still see a bit of droop right at the side seam but much less so than in the outside pics. (If you were to draw a straight line right across the hemline,from back to front, you can see the slight droop more clearly.)
ReplyDeleteSetting the sleeve in might help to pull this up a bit, back to where it should be.
In terms on analyzing the fit, the outside side view picture's droop under the arm suggests that more length is needed from shoulder to waist on both the front and back - at least that's what it would be in PMB-speak:)
