I'm back with my basic stitches. This one is one of my favourites because it is a real problem solver - the swing, or French, tack. I use this all the time to attach specific units together without creating right side pulls and dimples. As usual these videos look like they were produced on the kitchen table, because, well they are. The swing tack:
