I know I know I am a crappy blogger photographer and who just rushes off shots so she can go onto the next thing.
That said I did promise you all a while ago a picture of the dress I wore to my son's wedding (Marfy sort of burgundy dupioni ).
Well just now my most excellent daughter-in-law sent me this picture, of me dancing with one of my son's very best high school buddies.
I had asked Maddie if she thought I should let me hair go natural (that would be greying) and she sent this along with a note that I would maintain my "spark and energy" even in grey and white.
This kid's a real catch.
So this is my wedding dress project picture, in action:
I had a real good time at that wedding. Real good.
You look gorgeous! Beautiful dress.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! (And I'm all for the grey and white look.)
ReplyDeleteOh I love the dress! You look fabulous. :)
ReplyDeleteSpark and energy indeed! And in a beautiful dress!
ReplyDeleteFabulous picture - your dress was a triumph 😀
ReplyDeleteIf you can have so much fun in such a gorgeous dress, Brava! Great job!
ReplyDeleteFabulous!
ReplyDeleteYes, you had a good time at the wedding. You looked fab! Karen
ReplyDeleteJust lovely - and action shots are always great to see! So glad to finally see the finished dress.
ReplyDeleteThat dress is a winner as is the DIL.
ReplyDeleteDress is beautiful.....and weddings are too.....Merry Christmas
ReplyDeletePerfect!!!
ReplyDeleteYou look marvelous. So glad you had fun and got a wonderful daughter in law as a bonus!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful dress. Such a great compliment to be described by your daughter-in-law as having spark and energy. It's visible!
ReplyDeleteThat's how you should look at a wedding - smiling and having a great time in a fabulous dress!
ReplyDeleteLove this! Go grey. It's not your hair colour that conveys energy and life. It's what you do!
ReplyDeleteGreat picture! You look wonderful in the dress and happy!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great photo! You seem to be having fun. Now show us one of the dress in color, ok?
ReplyDeleteI think it looks even more spectacular with movement! You look divinely happy. I'm going grey although my hair is much longer and (good or bad) it doesn't grey quickly.
ReplyDeleteFabulous frock, but us sewing fans need DETAILS! We want to see close ups of that beading, and a colour shot, and a bonus shot of the guts! I cannot believe that you would tease us so.......
ReplyDeleteThat's the best picture EVER.
